Data Deletion Instructions

1. Delete it yourself from the panel (fastest)
In the DM Asistan panel go to Settings → Profile and create the "Delete my account and data" request. The confirmation step lists exactly what will be deleted. Your request is recorded, you receive a confirmation code, and the deletion is completed within 30 days at the latest.
2. Removing the app via Facebook
When you remove DM Asistan under Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, Facebook sends us a deauthorization notification; on receiving it we immediately invalidate your stored Instagram and WhatsApp access tokens and sever the account links. ⚠️ This cuts off ACCESS, it does NOT delete data. If you also want your data deleted, use option 1 or 3.
3. Request by email
If you cannot reach the panel, send a deletion request to — from the email address registered in our system. Use "Veri Silme Talebi" (Data Deletion Request) as the subject and include your full name and your connected Instagram username if any. Writing from your registered address speeds up identity verification.
4. What is deleted
Your brands; all conversation, message and comment records; your contact (CRM) records, notes and tags; your knowledge base and the AI assistant’s conversation memory are permanently deleted. Instagram/WhatsApp access tokens are removed and permissions on Meta are revoked. Your account row is anonymised: name, email, company, profile picture and the Facebook link are cleared.
5. What is retained and why
Invoice, payment and subscription records are kept for the retention period required by Turkish tax and commercial law; they are outside the scope of a deletion request and are not used for any other purpose. The deletion request itself (confirmation code and dates) is also kept as evidence — it is the record showing that we fulfilled your request.
6. Timing and status tracking
Deletion is completed within 30 days at the latest. For requests started via Facebook, use the link you were given; for requests opened in the panel, use your confirmation code at app.dmasistan.com/veri-silme-durumu to see the current stage of your request.
